Holy Cross’ ACC Athletics team was competing in the F division for the first time after winning G Division last year. The battle for Holy Cross wasn’t going to be a win overall but simply to survive F division and not get relegated back down to G.
Right from the start of the day, Holy Cross struggled to match it with the top teams but was certainly in the hunt to avoid finishing last. Throughout the day, our squad battled with 3 teams but unfortunately Holy Cross did end up finishing last and will find themselves in G division in 2016. The shining light of the day although were our Junior Boys who came second overall.
There were some great individual performances over the day with numerous students winning their respective events. Fred Ruremesha and Cian Guest (both Year 9) finishing first and second in their Age Champion category and Caitlyn McKenzie (Year 10) who toiled hard and placed fourth overall in her Age Division.
