All the things you can think (Dr Seuss)
LOOK OUT! The Pre Primary’s have been writing! Ava initiated writing at home and brought it in to school to show everyone. It has now been added to our Writing Wall. Eve did an excellent job of writing about the apples on top of her head, and Ruby blew Miss Behiels away with her writing about the chicks that visited our class. The Pre Primary’s are becoming Star Writers.
As a part of our Dr Seuss book focus we read "Ten Apples Up on Top". We then had a discussion about growing some plants that we could eat. Mr McKern surprised us with a terracotta plant pot, basil and snow peas. We are so excited to now have a garden! As a class we are going to watch our plants grow and record all the changes that we see. We may even get to eat some once they grow. Everyone is welcome to come in to have a look.

Year 2
What a fortnight! The last two weeks we have been really busy preparing for and presenting our assembly. Our buddies helped us to learn our song and then we had to teach Mrs Ryan. She made a video of our buddies and us singing it! We all did really well and Mrs Ryan was very proud of us.
We have also designed and built models of the types of equipment we would like to have in our playground. We had to incorporate a push an pull movement into our model and use our imaginations. Some of the designs include a roller coaster, train, water slides and amazing swings! Let's hope our playground is as amazing as our models!
