YEAR ONE
This week has just flown by, we have been such busy busy workers! The kids have really enjoyed completing reading activities on the iPad by uploading their voices, photos and videos. I have been completely blown away by their problem solving skills and abilities to add and change things on iBook Creator.
This week during Mathematics we have started looking at fractions. The children have found halves, quarters and wholes within the classroom. During Physical Education the children grouped one another in nets using their bodies. We have started to teach kicking skills and have tried kicking with a soccer ball.
We had some interesting news this week too, Fionn’s family were in The Australian newspaper and Paige spoke about her Mum’s old primary school which she visited.
We can’t wait to showcase our work in Week 7’s assembly. Enjoy your long weekend everyone!
