Cross Curricular Opportunities- Drama Meets Construction

The chance to create cross curricular opportunities at Holy Cross has always been a priority and this year we are excited to have the chance to merge our Senior Drama and Building/Construction courses. Mr Williams’ General Building and Construction students have kick started 2019 with an introductory project which is going to form part of the set for the Senior Drama Play, Hotel Sorrento. The Year 11 class are building a jetty structure which will replace the traditional ‘staging’ and form a key part of bringing Sorrento to life. The project forms part of an assessment for the Building and Construction students and we are excited to see the finished product in a few weeks’ time.
