VISN Camp

15 February 2019

VISN is a program for Year 11 and 12 students allowing them to study courses that are not offered on the College timetable and are studied online. Over 14 Catholic schools with both large and small cohorts are using VISN to enable their students to expand their curriculum offerings. Students have a video lesson once a week with their teacher (from another Catholic school) and have access to a suite of online learning tools for independent learning. They are able to keep in contact with their online teacher throughout each week.  Currently we have students studying Biology ATAR and Economics ATAR through the VISN program. Holy Cross College VISN students recently attended a VISN camp where they met students studying through VISN from other Catholic schools and had the opportunity to learn how to be a good online learner, develop independent study skills and had time to get to know their teacher and the other students taking their course.
