Mothers' Day in Kindergarten

It has been a very busy start to Autumn Term for all of the children in Kindergarten C.

We have been very busy investigating the similarities and differences between insects and mini-beasts. This week we were introduced to our new class pets which have been named Alex and Cathy. Alex is a thorny leaf insect and Cathy is a stick insect. Alex especially enjoys spending time with us in the sunshine and crawling up our arms with his six sticky legs!

Last week we had a very special celebration for our amazing Mums. All of our mums were treated to a concert in the DaVinci space with songs and artwork. Our classroom was then setup with a number of activities which included: mini manicures, leg shaving, portraits, hand printing, door hanger creating, play dough and a photo booth. We had so much fun with our mums as we are sure you can tell from the photos.
Kindergarten is definitely the place to be at Holy Cross!

Happy Mother's Day!
