The Australian Geography Competition

Around 20 students from the Senior School have put their Geographical Knowledge and Skills to the test today, by entering the Australian Geography Competition.
This is the 21st anniversary of the competition, with approximately 75,000 students from all around Australia taking part. It is organised by the Australian Geography Teachers' Association and the Royal Geographical Society of Queensland.
Students who excel in the Australian competition have the chance to represent Australia in the International Geography Olympiad.
We look forward with anticipation to the results being released in June.
