Year 7 Retreat

The theme for Year 7 is “Belonging to a Community” which is focussed around the patron, Frederic Ozanam and the two core values of compassion and connection. This year therefore the Year 7’s will engage in a number of different experiences centred around exploring this theme.

This week along with the team building activities at Ern Halliday, the Year 7’s participated in their annual retreat. Every year group has a devoted retreat time that allows the students to explore their year theme and enrichen their faith.


During the course of their retreat experience the Year 7’s explored the key characteristics of people who belong to communities, what it means to belong to a Catholic community, and what their House communities stand for.

We encourage the students to continue to engage one another in building the community that they are now a part of.
