Catholic Schools’ Performing Arts Festival

The Holy Cross College Senior Band
Performed at the Catholic Schools’ Performing Arts Festival on Tuesday 2 August
2016 in the Contemporary Bands section. The concert was held in a boutique
style auditorium at Corpus Christi College to a small, but enthusiastic
audience. The Band performed alongside 13 other acts from Catholic Schools
across Perth. The concert provided an awesome opportunity for students to
perform with top quality lighting and sound equipment that pumped out a beat
that you could feel, let alone hear!
The Band comprises Max Hughes (Year 12),
John Topliss (Year 8), Riley Boyle (Year 10), Anthony Menegola (Year 10) and
Owen Fisher (Year 10).
The Band performed two songs:
- High and Dry by Radiohead; and
- Uprising by Muse
Holy Cross College stood out amongst a
quality field of performers, belting out a unique sound.
Thanks to Mr McRae and Mr Benton for your
direction and guidance. We all can be very proud of the students and their performance.
