Yesterday the Year 8 Dance class performed their final assessment piece in front of the Year 2 students, who came down to join us in the performing arts room. The girls performances were based around a new musical that they created, where students took a movie or an idea and turned it into a dance piece that would fit the elements of Jazz. Our students spent the last term choreographing, organising props, hair, costumes and makeup. It was great for them to be able to perform their pieces to a live audience. The girls all showed great talent with their performances full of leaps, spins, acrobatics and pizzazz.
