Year 11 Geography students experience Tourism in the Swan Valley

Yesterday, despite the rain, year 11 Geography students had an enjoyable day carrying out fieldwork into the diffusion of tourism in the Swan Valley and the impacts it has.
We visited Morish nuts, Mondo Nougat, House of Honey, Houghton's Winery and the Margaret River chocolate factory. Students completed counts of transport in each car park, and of the numbers of visitors in each attraction. They were also able to undertake more in detail interviews with our hosts at each attraction. This information will be collated and written up into a report.
