Junior School Inter-School Cross Country

On Tuesday, 24 July, 48 students from Years 3 to 6 competed in the CPSSA Cross Country Carnival.

All participants gave their all and the five weeks of training really did pay off with many having personal best times on the day.  The best performers on the day were Declan Bellomo, Joseph Thomas and Denae Wallace who all finished in the top 20 in the A division for their age groups.   Jaxon Wallace, Ethan Bellomo, Aaron Garland, Conor Perry, Rodrigo Bravo Echevarria, Zai Gordon and Kate Spargo also made the top 25.

Holy Cross was presented with the 'Most Improved School' award for the day. Special thanks to Mr Elliott for all his effort at training and on the day and to Mr Jason Tutt for setting up the entire course and then being the chief starter for the whole day.  Thanks also to Mr Parsons, Mr Falcone and Miss Armenti for their assistance.
