Week 5 proved to be another busy and successful one for Holy Cross at the Catholic Schools Performing Arts Festivals with several soloists and our Junior Choir taking centre stage.
Year 7 student Declan Watts performed in the Secondary Woodwind Solo category at Zenith Music in Claremont on Wednesday and Year 6 student Nikolas Dragicevich performed in the Primary Percussion Solo section at Trinity College on Thursday with both boys receiving several Excellent rankings, a wonderful achievement.
This was followed by the Junior Choir travelling to the Vasto Club in Balcatta on Friday to perform alongside five other Primary Choirs in the Primary Choral Singing section. They put in a spirited performance of 'Feed The Birds' and 'Naughty', also receiving some rankings in the 'Excellent' categories.
