Exploring the letter L in Kindergarten

The children in Kindergarten C continue to have such a wonderful time learning through play.

Last week we looked closely at the letter 'l', 'L' and the sound that it makes. We had a wonderful time investigating and collaging leaves, creating leaf rubbings, cutting and decorating lanterns and making clay leaf bowls. We also looked at lots of opposite words such as light and dark, light and heavy, little and big, loud and soft, and long and short.

Our nature playground is such a fun place to learn and play each day. Our bean seeds and flower seedlings continue to grow each week and we love having the chance to water them. The Police and Fire tricycles have been getting a great work-out around our new road track. Our small world dinosaur garden is a wonderful place to play and use our imagination with friends. Tea parties and birthday parties occur constantly on our new outdoor table and chair stumps and the new shade sails over our sand pit area are another welcome addition to our amazing play-space.

We have the most wonderful time in Kindergarten!
