This week in Big Ideas, it was Game On! for our Year 9s as they wheeled and dealed their way around our Monopoly Perth Game Board and secured "Holy Cross Monopoly Bucks" through completing challenges learning about different landmarks around Perth City. They were encouraged to share their learning through a Twitter feed wildcard where they could earn Monopoly Bucks through tweeting interesting ideas they learned as they moved around the game board. Next week, we take our Monopoly Perth challenge into the real world, when students will visit Perth City, making connections between Holy Cross College and Ellenbrook with Perth City through visits to St. Mary's Cathedral and The Art Gallery of Western Australia.
