Whole School Extended HTG

While Salvado House celebrated their Feast Day mass last Wednesday, students from Pre Primary to Year 6 joined with students in Years 7 to 12 from Frayne, Ozanam and McCormack to participate in a team building activity. This was the first Extended HTG of it’s kind for the year.

Students from Junior School came to their House areas and were allocated a Senior School Buddy and their own HTG. Students were then put into groups and given the challenge to construct a tower entirely of straws and tape that would be able hold a tennis ball for at least 3 seconds.

The activity was great fun and each group worked well together to construct different and creative towers. More importantly, it was wonderful to see the students work together and to see the K-12 culture at Holy Cross College continue grow. We hope to do more whole school House based activities throughout the year to allow the students to further get to know each other.
