On Friday July 1, Year 11 and Year 12 ATAR English students were able to visit Curtin University and attend the 2016 English and Literature Conference. The conference is specifically aimed at exam skills and processes which enable success at ATAR level. The conference was a fantastic experience for a number of reasons. Firstly, students were able to experience university life, by sitting in large lecture theatres and having lunch in the university cafes, and secondly, the content was outstanding and very much supported the work the English Learning Area are doing in classrooms. It was great to see the students working hard and taking lots of notes ready for use in final exams this year. Well done to Year 11 and Year 12 students. Thanks to all staff who attended.
