Inter-House Swimming Carnival 2016

Friday December 2 saw the Middle and Senior School descend upon HBF Arena to compete in the Inter House Swimming Carnival for 2016. This carnival marks the beginning of the Champion House points allocation for 2017 so the atmosphere was one of optimism and excitement as the first event commenced.

The engagement and participation from the students was excellent. Races were competitive and the support from the House Bays was extremely vociferous.

Students who were unable to swim were put to work with roles in either catering or official carnival roles. These roles were carried out with aplomb.

By the end of the Carnival, an all day battle between Ozanamand McCormack was finally settled with Ozanam prevailing by the extremely small margin of 24 points.

The final placing were as follows:

Ozanam         1378
McCormack  1354
Salvado         1078
Frayne   793
