College Ball
The College
Ball will be held on Friday 6 February 2015 at Caversham House. The College
Ball is the pinnacle social event in the life of students in Years 11 and 12 and has an air of
sophistication and elegance.
Year 11 and
12 students will finish school at 12.05pm on Friday to prepare for this special
event. Students must attend school on Friday morning if they are attending the
Ball.
Year 7 Learning Journey
On Friday 6
February the College will present a Learning Journey for parents of Year 7
students at 2.45pm to view the students’ work for the first week. We hope all
parents of Year 7 students are able to attend.
Welcome BBQ for all Families &
Parent Information Sessions for the Junior and Middle Schools
The College
will host a welcome BBQ for all families on Monday, 16 February 2015. Details of the Parent Information Sessions and BBQ are listed below:
4.30pm to 5.30pm Junior School Parent Information Sessions
Parents
need to attend at least one session for the Year Level of each child in the
Junior School. Sessions are half an hour and start at 4.30pm and 5.00pm.
5.15pm to 5.30pm Middle School Parents’ House Tutor Group (HTG)
meetings with students in their HTG classroom to meet the HTG Teacher.
5.30pm to 5.40pm A short meeting with Mr McRae for parents
of Junior School students performing in the College Musical Production of
Narnia – The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe).
5.30pm to 6.30pm Family BBQ in the undercover area (A gold
coin donation is requested to receive a sausage sizzle/burger and a drink).
6.30pm to 8.30pm Series of concurrent sessions for Parents
of Middle School Students. Parents will be required to indicate their nominated
sessions via a formal reply slip to be sent home with students on Friday 6
February 2015.
