New meeting times
It
was wonderful to see so many new faces at our first morning meeting of the Friends
of Holy Cross. We have introduced the
mid-term morning meeting as we appreciate that for many of our families evening
meetings are problematic and hinder your opportunities to become involved in
the Life of our amazing College. We
will also be continuing with the evening meeting early each term to allow those
who work to remain involved.
Meeting
dates for the remainder of 2016 are:
➢ Monday 25th July 6.30pm
➢ Monday 29 August 9am
➢ Monday 17 October 6.30pm
➢ Monday 21 November 9am

Parent Camino Salvado Pilgrimage Walks
The
Friends of Holy Cross are currently planning the Parent Camino Salvado
Pilgrimage walks for this year.
The
first leg of the Pilgrimage walk will be held on Friday 24 June and will go from
Subiaco to East Perth, an approximate 6 kilometre walk. Letters regarding this walk have been sent home
with students this week.
The
second leg of the Pilgrimage walk is to be held on Tuesday 13 September and
will go from East Perth to Guildford, an approximate 15 km walk. More
information will be provided, but save the date for now.
Last
years parent Camino Salvado Pilgrimage walk was a real highlight for those
fortunate to be able to attend and we encourage all parents to join us on these
pilgrimage walks, just as you encourage your students to be involved.
It
is not necessary to do the various legs in a set order as we will be repeating
the pilgrimage walk legs in coming years
